Today is a very special day for me. Why? Because today my alter ego’s debut novella goes on sale. The Demon He Knows is now available for download.
This novella was a lot of fun to write. It’s quirky, a bit irreverent, and, I like to think, has a unique take on angels and demons. In the world of The Demon He Knows the angels and demons have formed corporations, Corporate North and South respectively. If you think your day job is bad imagine working in a 5 x 5 cubicle in a business run by demons. How about having to face the Board of Demons to receive a negative performance evaluation. My hero Zavier has to do that, and it’s not fun for him. Failure to appropriately perform your job duties for Corporate South has dire consequences.
Let me share a quick blurb about the story to give you a rough idea of what I mean.
He’ll do anything to protect the man he loves…even sacrifice himself.
Fifty years ago, Zavier became a Collections Demon in order to save his lover’s life. He hates his job, but once you make a deal with Corporate South, there’s no backing out. Answering a routine summons, he never expects to come face to face with his reincarnated lover.
Ryan Monroe is a desperate man searching for a way to save his dying sister. His attempt at summoning a soul collection demon to exchange his soul for his sister’s life finds him face to face with Zavier.
For the first time in years, Zavier’s life has purpose. Despite his employer’s disapproval, Zavier intends to rebuild his relationship with Ryan. Corporate South has other plans.
Can Zavier and Ryan find a way to break free of Corporate South and beat death?
Warning, this book contains explicit sexual content, graphic language, and situations that some readers may find objectionable: Male/male sexual practices.

To celebrate my release day let’s have a little fun. In my novella, my demons can grant any wish you desire, they can teleport, they can control the weather and other natural phenomenon. So, if you were a demon what kind of powers would you want? Be careful what you wish for because these powers will be used on behalf of Corporate South and they never play fair.
I’ll be giving away a free copy of the eBook, but you have to answer my question to be entered for a chance to win.
For a last shameless plug, if you enjoy paranormal romance. I hope you’ll give The Demon He Knows a read.

Congrats on the release! Looking forward to reading it.
My demon power: Time Travel, hands down!
Darn it Jenn – you took the power I wanted…time travel. If that means I can’t have it then I’d be cupid allowing two people to fall in love.
Release day! Congratulations! My demon power? Ability to clear traffic (including red lights and trucks) out of my way.
The ability to hypnotize others into doing my bidding – like cleaning my house!
Thanks everyone!!
Great power ideas! I would love to be able to do all of them. Especially that traffic thing, Kiersten. I am always getting stuck at the light or behind someone pokey.
Rayna
Congratulations! Enjoy your release day. I’d pick the ability to transform into anything I can imagine!
Loved the excerpt, Rayna! Congrats!
Hmm: demon power: Beside taking the unit forever, keep my son’s time on X-box moderate, lol.
Congratulations on the release, Rayna!
My demon power would be the ability to write well and write fast and make all the editors fight over my work.
I’ve changed my mind. My demon power is to make my kids obey my every word! Bwaa ha ha ha ha!
Congratulations on your new release, R.A.! My demon power would be manipulating one’s mind and actions like an evil Obi Wan Kinobi (did I spell his name right?)
Best wishes for The Demon He Knows
